CLASSES


Southlake Fitness is dedicated to providing a wide variety of fitness classes. Classes range from basic for those just getting started to more advanced classes as you make progress in your fitness journey. Additionally we provide specialty classes such as Kick Boxing and Yoga to make sure that you never run out of exciting ways to work out. So whether you want to increase flexibility, burn fat, build muscle, or reduce stress, we have classes that make working out fun and exciting. Hurry as classes have limited space.


Cardio-Kickboxing

This training system allows you to safely get in shape, using proven kickboxing techniques that will challenge your muscles, getting you fit while you actually have fun working out! And because you're learning real martial arts techniques, there's a dual benefit to your workout that you'll be able to protect yourself should you ever have to. Cardio Kickboxing burns more fat cells than traditional martial arts training and most other workout programs, allowing you to effectively burn over 500 calories per workout.

You will find energy and power you never thought you had! You will also:
- Build lean muscle mass
- Improve your coordination and balance
- Promotes good mental health by concentrating on performing the combinations and hitting the targets correctly

Abs Attack

Whether this is the first time you have been to the gym or you have been coming for years, you can get a great core work out in this 30 minute class. Exercises can be quickly altered to cater towards any fitness level to assure that everyone is challenged. All abdominal and back muscles will be targeted through floor exercises, use of stability balls, medicine balls etc. With the music loud and friends around you are guaranteed to not only get a great work out in but do it having fun!

Circuit Training

Circuit training is a combination of high-intensity aerobics and resistance training designed to be easy to follow and target fat loss, muscle building and heart fitness. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for another circuit. The time between exercises in circuit training is short, with rapid movement to the next exercise.

Pilates

Pilates is an innovative system of mind-body exercise that dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, tones body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen.

It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilate improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain.

Pilates is a safe, sensible exercise system using a floor mat, that will help you look and feel your very best. No matter what your age or condition, it will work for you.

Total Body Workout

This class is 45 minutes of compound exercises with bouts of cardio in between.

Step Aerobics

Step Aerobics helps burn calories and maintain weight. It provides endurance training, which will help maintain your cardiovascular system. It also provides flexibility training that enhances joint movement. Step Aerobics has a positive impact on mental health as well. Since the workout is fun and enjoyable, it can help relieve stress.

Zumba®

The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

TRX® Make your body your machine

TRX® Suspension Training® harnesses your own bodyweight to create resistance as you train. That's all you need - the TRX and your own body. No additional weights required.

TRX® Suspension Training allows you to instantly adjust not only the level of difficulty for each exercise, but you can easily customize any workout on the fly.

Maximize your training time
You can easily switch from exercise to exercise in less than 15 seconds. This allows you to maximize your training time and enables circuit style workouts.

Suspension Training builds core strength with every exercise by creating an element of instability that calls on your core to provide balance and coordination.
